This is a reminder that Chapman University’s Communication Sciences and Disorders Master’s program and The Stuttering Foundation’s Friends Who Stutter Conference is this Saturday, April 25. This is the largest stuttering conference in California! This conference is designed to bring together young children, teenager, and adults who stutter, their parents, members of stuttering self-help groups, speech-language pathologists, and students interested in the topic of stuttering.

Attendees will find support, information and meet other people dedicated to living successfully with stuttering. The workshop format includes small discussion groups, panel presentations, and group activities.  Separate workshops will be presented for adults, teenagers, children, and professionals.  Emphasis will be placed on integrating treatment techniques and support services for people who stutter. Offerings for children will include enjoyable workshops on stuttering facilitated by speech-language pathologists and members of the adult stuttering community. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
